First departure from bacon-breakfast in a week; low-carb yogurt is just easier to manage when standing around watching kids' sports practice. 3g carbs, 12g protein.


Lunch at Culver's, chopped steak dinner with double green beans. 16g carbs, 37g protein.


One of these days, I swear, I am going to learn that I should just stick to the pot roast at The Black-Eyed Pea. The menu entry for baked cod tells you about the lemon butter sauce, but doesn't tell you about the flour dredge; it's not much, but it's the idea of undisclosed ingredients. I tried to scrape it off, think I probably got 2/3 of it, and the way my blood sugar reacted bears that out. About 13g carbs, 45g protein.


Some nice dark chocolate for a snack. 5g carbs, 3g protein.

Totals for the day are 37g carbs, 97g protein.
