Back to bacon for breakfast; no carbs, 10g protein.


I also had some cheddar cheese, about 3.3 oz, shortly after breakfast, which was late, to tide me over until after a party for one of my daughter's classmates, and keep me out of the cake. No carbs, about 20g protein.


After the kids' party, I made an omelet, 4 eggs and about an ounce of shredded cheese; I think I'm getting the knack of omelets, as this was awesome, although I still haven't got the guts to flip it in the air. About 2g carbs, 30g protein.


Mid-afternoon snack of mini-Toblerone. 9g carbs, 1g protein.


Dinner was vaguely Mediterranean -- fresh mozzarella, with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, and some manzanilla olives. About 5g carbs, 24g protein.


Another try at the microwaved cheese crisps; I tried out thinner slices this time, and it's okay, but I think I'll try small squares next time, as the ends tended to not get toasted. I like this better than the last run, though, enough to keep trying to refine it. About 2g carbs, 10g protein.

Totals for the day are 18g carbs, 95g protein.
