Short post today; I had no breakfast because I was having medical stuff done in the morning.


So annoyed -- I learned last week's lesson and stuck with the pot roast at The Black-Eyed Pea, and they messed up and gave me broccoli and rice casserole instead of the broccoli I asked for, which I didn't discover until I was back at my desk. I really like this casserole, too, so it was hard to not get my broccoli and resist this carby stuff, but I did. Pot roast and green beans only are about 3g carbs, 38g protein.



Sometimes eating low-carb gets you the greatest food! I ate at Macaroni Grill last night, and had their Chianti steak; it normally comes with fettucine, but I asked for a sub, and the kitchen put together this fabulous mix of veggies -- broccoli, a couple artichoke hearts, some baby asparagus, about half a tomato, mushrooms and onions. Better than what regular diners get! I'm estimating about 10g carbs and 50g protein.

Totals for the day are about 13g carbs, 88g protein.
