This is half of a 4g glucose tablet; part of an experiment I'm not ready to talk about yet, but I'm counting it. 2g carbs, no protein.


Bacon for breakfast; no carbs, 10g protein.


Lunch at the Mediterranean buffet -- salads of lettuce, cucumber, and cabbage, sauteed cauliflower, and eggplant, plus kafta and chicken kabobs. Yum. About 8g carbs, 60g protein.


Chili's shrimp caesar salad, no croutons; 6g carbs and 23g protein.


Two ounces of Heart of England cheese, no carbs and 12g protein.


And some Hershey's Cacao Reserve truffles -- 9g carbs and 2g protein.

Totals for the day are 25g carbs, 107g protein.
