Bacon for breakfast again; no carbs, and 10g protein.

Lunch is often fairly late on Fridays for me, so I had a mid-morning snack of summer sausage bites. No carbs, and 5g protein.

Lunch was late, and simple -- 3.5oz of honey ham, 2 oz of cheddar, and some Hickory Farms Sweet Hot mustard to dip the ham in. About 5g carbs, and 30g protein.

I let myself be tempted into a cream-filled popsicle in the afternoon -- but just a sugar-free one, that's not especially high in sugar alcohols either. There's room for discussion on how to count sugar alcohols in carb counting -- some people see a glucose rise, others don't -- but I don't seem to metabolize them well at all (which can lead to serious discomfort if I consume too many), so I'm going to go with the popular wisdome of netting them out. Given that, this has 2g carbs, and 2g protein.

For dinner, I felt like having a hamburger steak with gravy, and this mushroom and swiss steak from Denny's was great, although it was a little higher in carbs than I realized at the time; that was a slight misstep, there. 25g carbs, 48g protein in this.

I rarely drink other than at business dinners, but I had a glass of white wine (and a bubble bath, not shown!) tonight. 5g carbs, no protein.

Totals for the day are still fine, even though dinner was a little higher carb than I intended. 37g carbs, 95g protein.
