Bacon starts the day, as usual. No carbs, 10g protein.


For lunch I had a salad and a roast-beef sandwich without the bread. About 5g carbs, 24g protein.


Planning is useful for staying on track -- I knew I was having a lunch meeting with Panera food, and I knew there would be cookies, so I brought some chocolate as a substitute. Two squares of 85% dark chocolate only have about 3g carbs, 2g protein.


Whoops! I totally forgot to take a picture of the beer I had at happy hour with co-workers; I drank about 2/3 of a Shiner Bock. About 8g carbs; I don't think there's any protein in there.


Dinner was at Olive Garden; no croutons in the salad, and although the picture shows potatoes on the plate with my pork tenderloin and broccoli, I didn't eat them. About 8g carbs, 50g protein.

Totals for the day were around 24g carbs, 86g protein.
