Bacon for breakfast, again. No carbs, 10g protein.

For lunch, I thought I'd try La Madeleine, but it was kind of disappointing. This quiche, of which I ate only the filling and no crust, was tasty, but on the small side; I had thought I'd have a salad with it, but most of them feature balsamic vinaigrette, which tends to run high on carbs, so I passed. I still think quiche for lunch is a good idea, but I believe next time I'll go somewhere that serves slices of full-sized quiche, which leaves you more filling to eat and less crust to abandon. This was about 2g carbs, 18g protein.

Since lunch was rather inadequate, I had about an ounce and a half of mixed nuts in the afternoon. 9g carbs, 10g protein.

It's Shrove Tuesday -- Pancake Day! -- so I had pancakes for dinner. Even though they rather miss the point of the tradition, which is to use up eggs and sugar before Lent, when they're made of protein powder and artificially sweetened. Still good, though! Together with the sausage, about 6g carbs, 33g protein.

I had about 3oz of Heart of England cheese as a snack, since I was protein-light for the day. No carbs, 18g protein.

Totals for the day are 17g carbs, 89g protein.
