The cold I started on Friday seems to be on the short-lived side, but intense, to the point where I was wondering for a while if it was flu instead. I didn't feel like any sort of breakfast that required even minimal standing around in the kitchen, so I had 3oz of cheddar. No carbs, 18g protein.
I was feeling a bit better by lunchtime, and was able to get food brought to me besides. Pot roast (there's toast under it, but I didn't eat that) with double green beans, for 14g carbs and 28g protein.
I was improved enough to feel like a snack, CarbMaster yogurt, in the afternoon. 3g carbs, 12g protein.
And enough better to actually cook by evening! This is flank steak rolled around a filling of herbed butter, parmesan cheese, and leaf spinach; yum! And broccoli, of course. About 7g carbs, 50g protein.
This was part of dinner, too, but I'm so pleased with it that I had to show it separately. These little shot-glass sized desserts are delicious -- a nice fluffy lemon and raspberry mousse -- and made from all ingredients I can not only pronounce but identify the origins of, and there are only 6 carbs! They're sold in the freezer section at one of my local groceries; I've shown the box, too, in case you're interested in finding them. 6g carbs, 1g protein.
Totals for the day were 30g carbs, 109g protein.
