Breakfast was... unfortunate. I was at a seminar, and they had breakfast burritos that were supposed to contain sausage, egg and cheese. Sadly, they mostly actually contained potato. So I picked around the edges and got little nibbles of cheese and egg and meat, but left most of this. I'm going to count 2g carbs for what I might have inadvertently picked up, and 4g protein.


I was free by lunchtime, and decided a buffet would be great to make up for scanty breakfast, so I went to DiMassi's. Yum! Plenty of low-carb veggies (cucumber, cabbage, cauliflower, and some really excellent eggplant) and chicken and beef kabobs; I had a little extra eggplant and chicken, not shown. About 8g carbs and 65g protein.


Dinner was at the mall food court, as some shopping needed to be done. After wandering disconsolately, since I didn't feel like a burger minus the bun, I settled on this salad, which was actually pretty good, with thinly sliced steak (the kind that goes on Philly sandwiches) over greens and other veggies, and blue cheese dressing. About 6g carbs, 25g protein.


One of our local groceries makes this mozzarella fresh, in-house. Yum! I had three 1-oz pieces of it, with a little balsamic vinegar splashed over. About 3g carbs (from the vinegar), 18g protein.

Totals for the day are 19g carbs (GOOD day!), and 112g protein.
