Ah, look, I got more bacon. No carbs, 10g protein in this.
For lunch I had grilled chicken strips, with hot wing sauce (virtually no carbs) and blue cheese dressing, and a salad (hold the croutons) with blue cheese dressing also, at Buffalo Wild Wings. A few carbs, probably about 4g, and about 40g protein.
It was chilly in my office today, so I had hot tea, with half-n-half instead of those little creamer thingies full of HFCS. You probably can't see the scale of this cup, but it's huge -- it holds a full 24oz. I had 2oz of h&h in this, for 2g carbs and 2g protein.
I was craving a Big Mac, so I had one -- on a plate, without any of the bread. There's still a little carb in there, from the special sauce and the cheese (American cheese has more than most), but not much. With it, I had some broccoli, and enough apple slices to give me 10g carbs. About 18g total carbs in this (a little high, but the rest of the day was minimal, and I know this amount doesn't shift my blood sugar), and probably about 25g protein.
Dinner was pretty late, so no snacks tonight. Totals for this day were 24g carbs, and 77g protein -- in the range, albeit on the lower end. Good for me.
